Overview

Perform precise MEP layout using Trimble equipment and support BIM coordination.

Tasks

-Upload, manage, and troubleshoot Trimble files and data between the field and office teams. -Provide training and support to field personnel on Trimble technology and layout processes. -Interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and BIM models to ensure accurate field layout. -Perform as-built data collection and coordinate with CAD/VDC teams to update models. -Operate Trimble robotic total stations and GPS equipment to perform precise field layouts for piping, ductwork, and other systems. -Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while working on job sites. -Maintain and calibrate Trimble equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. -Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to support construction sequencing and workflow.

What You Bring

-Mechanical construction background (HVAC, piping, or plumbing). -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Comfortable working in both field and office settings. -Experience with Trimble Field Link or similar layout software. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and models. -Knowledge of robotic total stations and GPS survey systems. -Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction documents. -Previous experience in construction layout, surveying, or Trimble operations (mechanical construction experience preferred). -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM software is a plus. -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
