Overview

Design and draft structural drawings for wood construction projects using AutoCAD/Revit.

Tasks

-Prepare engineering drawings -Read and interpret blueprints/drawings -Preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction. Ensuring structural drawings and specifications meet established Project criteria and applicable standards. -Participate in the production of construction document for structural projects. -Assisting in the preparation of functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings.

What You Bring

-Design drafting using AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS office with excellent general computer skills -Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are required. -Must have good knowledge and experience with wood construction. -Have a good understanding of design / drafting for Muti-family dwellings, light commercial and commercial buildings. -Working experience and knowledge in recent and current versions of AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office with excellent general computer skills is required. -A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ideally in the consulting industry. -Completion of civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited school is required. -Communication and coordination with other sub consultants and members of the Project team. -Experience with wood construction design and drafting.
