Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects, client liaison, QA, design, and site travel.
-Scope and estimate new work opportunities. -Seal jobs for turnover to construction teams. -Travel to project sites as required. -Interface with clients and project managers to gather project details. -Lead and coordinate engineering projects. -Conduct QA checks on the backend of projects. -Oversee technical work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
-Experience with pulp and paper industry design. -Familiarity with oil & gas, HVAC, and equipment/plant design. -Experience with piping, Revit, and AutoCAD Plant 3D. -Familiarity with Carrierhat or Revit for HVAC design. -Proficiency in Cesar or AutoPipe software. -8 minimum years of experience, with a preference for 15-20 years. -Proficiency in designing piping systems, including water and steam systems. -Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
