Tasks

-Provide management of project logistics, organization, safety, and work force utilization -Manage project controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures required by the client -Ensure project closeout to obtain guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for final project delivery to the owner -Responsible for onsite quality assurance of contractor work -Ensure contractor, architect, and engineer, adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment -Collaborate with IOR and HCAI field officials -Act as an Owners Representative with direct client facing responsibilities -Conduct project meetings and provide documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information -Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of the contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities -Meeting with stakeholders and overseeing construction of new and/or renovation projects throughout the hospital campus

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge and application of project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods are required -Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirements -Experience with an Integrated Project Delivery method such as Design-Build is strongly preferred -Experience working and coordinating with hospital shareholders such as Physicians, Staff, and Facilities is preferred -Strong collaboration, conflict resolution and team building skills are required and essential -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline is preferred -Associate DBIA or DBIA Certification is preferred -Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints is required -Knowledge of design requirements, architecturally significant medical equipment, and current industry practices and trends specific to the Healthcare / HCAI sector in California are required -5 to 8 years of construction experience with a minimum of 3 years in the California Healthcare market sector as a PM is required -Experience with pre-construction programming and stakeholder coordination is strongly preferred -A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required -Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite of tools is required, user skills with Procore are preferred
