Tasks

-Manage supplier and vendor relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement. -Support the planning and delivery of IT projects, ensuring service desk readiness and resource planning. -Collaborate with the Head of IT to identify and implement service improvements, automation opportunities and digital initiatives. -Ensure System Integrity, Data Protection, Security, Backup and Disaster Recovery are appropriate for WGM's needs. -You will coach and develop the IT Infrastructure team to support their individual and collective professional development. -Lead the IT Infrastructure team to ensure timely and effective delivery of complex IT Infrastructure Projects. -Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority issues, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication. -Assess system performance and recommend improvements where possible. -Monitor and report on IT infrastructure performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices. -Manage stakeholder relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement. -Facilitate regular team meetings and 1:1s to support staff development and engagement.
