  • Prepare and send out supplier and subcontract packages and negotiate to choose the competitive supplier and subcontractor and in conformance with the project requirements.
  • Review, analyse and apply project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate civil estimates for a wide range of Civil and Structural projects.
  • Monitor and seek feedback of project costs during the bidding and construction phases, providing value engineering.
  • Prepare comprehensive tender submission documents with adequate writing skills.
  • Collaborate with the tender and construction team to develop right construction methodology, program, and prepare project risks and opportunities.

  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, ideally “Expert” software and MS Excel.
  • Road infrastructure for DTMR, Local Councils across North and Central Qld, QR and Mining
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry and field experience (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field or trade qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principles estimates and submission documents within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, writing skills.
  • First principle estimating experience and program skills.
  • Proficiency in Project planning and MS Project program.
