The Role

Overview

Manage airport construction projects, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and client liaison.

Tasks

-Prepares high quality reports. -Monthly billing review (pencil copy). -Ensures project database is current and maintained. -Escort and supervise all access on the AOA and throughout all back of house areas. -Represents Company at project meetings. -Preparing progress charts, construction schedules and reports. -Acts as client/Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status. -Measuring the quantities of work and certifying estimates and payments to the contractors. -Contributes to the development of recommendations for assigned projects and others when requested by Supervisor. -Provide overall project and construction management support during planning, design, construction and closeout. -Coordinate all access for construction in for peak and off peak hours. -Completes field surveys and/or inspections or assigns appropriate employees for same. -Provide project closeout -Collect and validate As-Built drawings from the contractor -Communicates and/or presents potential new business or resource information, competitive situations, or technology/regulatory factors to the Company. -Ensures all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards. -Communicates project changes and/or variation information appropriately. -Consults and coordinates with Supervisor at regularly scheduled meetings to review status of active and future projects. -Conducting project coordination meeting. -Supervises the work of other staff when assigned. -Generate Weekly status reports. -Coordination of work in field with all trades. -Identifies and investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures. -Adheres to client/Company safety policy and OSHA requirements. -Coordinate to verify and validate during construction that client requirements and expectations are being met.

What You Bring

-Excellent communications skills. -Excellent knowledge of underlying principals of A/E industry. -Valid state driver’s license (any in US). -Excellent knowledge of project management processes. -Ability to work in US. -Bachelor’s degree in construction, Engineering, or Architecture -Must have experience with Airport projects: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems, airfield (runway, taxiway), at a medium and/or large air carrier airport. -Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. -Ability to meet worksite security requirements. -At least 5 years of progressive responsibility within the construction industry -Ability to drive and maintain a safe driving record. -Ability to prioritize tasks.
