Tasks
Join Ground Control and play a key role in shaping safe and sustainable rail infrastructure. -Carry out regular site audits and inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met. -Manage workloads effectively, providing leadership, guidance, and support to field-based teams. -Scope sites, prepare task briefs, and price works accurately. -Plan possessions efficiently to minimise disruption and maintain productivity. -Use digital trackers and IT systems to plan, monitor, and report project progress. -Oversee project delivery, resolving on-site challenges quickly and effectively. -Engage confidently with clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive communication throughout. -Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day project delivery and site operations.

What You Bring
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Rail & Infrastructure division at Ground Control. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds - a mix of home working and time on-site - as you help deliver a range of arboriculture projects across the North. If you’re a motivated leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient projects - we’d love to hear from you. -Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. -Safety and management qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid +F, and COSS. -Proven experience as a Site Manager with an arboriculture background. -A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong client relationship skills -Strong IT skills, confident using digital systems for tracking and reporting.
