The Role
Overview
Operate and maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).

Tasks
-Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. -Repair: Address emergency and preventive repairs to keep facilities running smoothly. -Support: Provide technical guidance to team members and manage repair records. -Inspect: Ensure compliance with regulations and client expectations for environmental and operational conditions. -Maintain: HVAC/R, Chillers, CDA, Boilers, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Maintenance systems. -Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive and predictive maintenance on building equipment, which may include: mechanical/HVAC-R/plumbing systems, electrical/cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems. -Ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner. -Review inspection to building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. -Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

What You Bring
-Multi-trade experience -Education: High school diploma or GED required. -Experience: Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience as a Building Engineer, Assistant/Chief Engineer, or related job. -Chiller, CDA (clean dry air), BMS and refrigeration experience is a plus. -Licenses & Certifications: Universal CFC/EPA 608 certification required -Datacenter, R&D and Computer Room experience is a plus -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Hands-on expertise with building systems. -Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical conditions (climbing, standing, etc.).
