The Role
Overview
Develop and manage construction cost estimates and budgets across project phases.

Tasks
-Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take offs using plans and specifications, or conceptual information. -Prepare and deliver summary analysis for assigned scope of work. -Deliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values. -Evaluate change orders and peer review of estimates. -Review, interpret and define the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents. -Assist with the continuous cost management process. -Develop and implement risk and value management exercises on projects. -Participate in local industry events. -Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. -Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships. -Perform work tasks by receiving direction and then working independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilities. -Build up unit costs based on understanding of labor and material rate structures. -Proactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression. -Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients.
