The Role

Overview

Oversee production, profitability, quality and team management for high‑performance door systems.

Tasks

Meet agreed delivery targets. To manage and develop order intake, resource availability and utilisation, quality system, profit margin and product output of the Tech business unit. Maintain a safe working environment. Manage team timekeeping/attendance and disciplinary matters. Meet agreed order intake and profit margin targets. Implement and maintain ISO9000 Quality Management System. Develop and deliver growth plans for the business unit. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Meet agreed order intake, turnover and profit margin targets. Manage customers, including meeting delivery, quality and PR standards. Maintain growth and profitability of the business unit. Ensure that team members always adhere to Company Management Systems, Booth 10 principles and safety procedures. Ensure that equipment is safe, well maintained and capable. Manage lost time and resource utilisation.

What You Bring

Good interpersonal skills Able to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to interpret drawings and specifications Understanding of profitability and general business management Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar industry (steel works, indutrial, manufacturing environment) Determined, adaptable and pro-active Ability to communicate clearly Professional, confident presentational skills displayed when dealing with customers (internal and external). General IT skills Adhere to Booth 10 principles.
