The Role

Overview

Commission, test, and maintain UPS systems for data centers, traveling to sites.

Tasks

-Carry out site acceptance testing on customer sites. -You will setup and configure remote monitoring software. -You will communicate with key stakeholders on a technical level. -Commissioning of large UPS systems. -Applies ECN process to all repairs. -Applies anti-static policies and procedures.

What You Bring

-Battery experience – VRLA and Lithium Ion. -Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent -Knowledgeable of programming of PLC control systems (power control, generator control, SCADA or process control -Ability to understand and create commissioning scripts. -Ability to use and understand power quality meters. -Ability to understand on-line and line-interactive UPS systems. -Knowledgeable of industrial communication protocols such as: Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE , TCP/IP -Experience in thermography and reporting. -Possessing three phase electrical installation or maintenance knowledge
