Tasks

Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, including tendering, negotiation, and appointment. Lead the preparation and settlement of final accounts. Monitor and manage variations, change control, and contract administration. Manage the commercial aspects of allocated construction projects from procurement to final account. Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to support efficient project delivery. Provide commercial advice and support throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with JCT/NEC contract requirements and company procedures. Produce accurate monthly valuations, cost reports, and cash-flow forecasts.

What You Bring

Excellent commercial awareness and cost-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects or packages simultaneously. We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial and contractual management of construction projects across the UK, with most sites based in London. Proven experience working as a QS or Project QS within the UK construction industry. Professional membership (MRICS or working toward) desirable. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities. Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
