Data Visualization Intern

Overview

Create and maintain BI reports/dashboards, validate data, and convey insights.

Tasks

-Identify and analyze trends with business strategy implications. -Provide technical support for existing reports, queries, and data models. -Translate data findings into clear visuals and presentations for non-technical audiences. -Generate standard and custom reports summarizing business, financial, and operational data for leaders and stakeholders. -Validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting processes. -Develop and maintain dashboards in SAP and other BI platforms to visualize key performance indicators.

What You Bring

-Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. -Available to travel for the Internship Summit, hosted at a Zekelman Industries location. -Strong interest in business intelligence, reporting, and visualization. -Collaborative team player able to work across multiple departments. -Hands-on experience with real-world business intelligence and reporting challenges. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. -Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.) or SQL preferred.
