Assist in HVAC design, equipment selection, and project work as a Mechanical Engineering intern.

Tasks

-Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance as needed. -Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. -Devise innovative approaches to solve engineering problems. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, traffic, and geotechnical engineers. -Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and make recommendations based on their needs. -Monitor work to ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices. -Assist in HVAC designs, calculations, and reports for various building projects. -Plan, organize, and develop engineering activities for construction and maintenance projects. -Lead projects under the guidance of senior engineers. -Prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs. -Participate in equipment selection and specification writing processes.

What You Bring

-Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent. -Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
