Tasks

-📈 Process & Performance: Make sound commercial decisions, maximise value recovery, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. -🦺 Health & Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with group SHE policies, conduct site safety samples, and review subcontractor safety performance. -💰 Commercial Management: Manage subcontract packages, contribute to procurement strategies, issue tender enquiries, and ensure contractual obligations are met. -🤝 Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with clients and consultants, understand their drivers, and enhance Wates’ service offering. -Subcontract/materials orders and buying -👥 People & Leadership: Support team development through PDRs and training, seek growth opportunities beyond surveying, and drive performance through regular reviews.

What You Bring

-Strong commercial acumen and cost control -MSc or BA Hons in Quantity Surveying or similar -Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills -Effective relationship-building with PQS, design teams, and supply chain -Confident in financial reporting and final accounts -Construction methods and technology
