Design and manage water/wastewater facility projects in Arkansas.

Tasks

-Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department -Preparing design computations and quantity estimates -Serving as the project manager on various size projects -Attending day and night client meetings as necessary -Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects -Evaluating and analyzing existing projects -Designing water/wastewater facility projects

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university -Experience with process and hydraulic modeling -Project management experience -Experience with construction administration tasks related to water/wastewater projects -Experience with water/wastewater facilities design (treatment, transmission, collection/distribution, pump stations and storage facilities) -Arkansas Professional Engineering license -PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in AR within six months of hire -At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience
