Lead sustainability implementation and advise on environmental practices for construction projects.

Tasks
-Assist in the collation of information for the preparation of Sustainability management reports for relevant Business Units at applicable intervals. -Attend Sustainability Start-Up meetings with Sustainability Manager and the Sisk site teams. -Maintain an awareness of trend analysis from inspection/ audit findings and incidents supporting mitigation of recurring issues. -Support your projects during Sustainability Management System Audits. -Attend sites following environmental incidents and assist with the investigation. -Support continuous improvement on Project Sustainability performance through supporting improvement initiatives. -Deliver appropriate environmental training. -Support the delivery of company strategy. -Highlight bespoke client requirements affecting management system with line manager. -Engage in the development of the functional Strategy, and sustainability roadmap and support the consistent roll out across your Project. -Engage with strategic Working Groups as required. -Prepare for and support external audits by certification bodies. -Support in the delivery of business unit strategy. -Support Sustainability Manager with enforcement authorities if they attend site on routine visits or to investigate following an incident. -Contribute and assist tender and prequalification teams where requested advising on sustainability submissions as well as helping provide practical solutions. -Provide sound and industry leading advise to project stakeholders. -Provide feedback to support the maintenance and review of the Sustainability Management System. -Implement the management system and support others to use it appropriately. -Conduct health checks of your project(s) at a frequency and with the intrusiveness as set by the Group Sustainability Director.

What You Bring
-Influencing skills and ability to manage challenging conversations. -Full relevant driver’s licence and flexibility to travel. -Environmental experience in a construction environment or similar. -Relevant degree and/or professional qualification -Interpersonal and engagement skills. -Understand performance management -Time Management and organisational skills. -Developing analytical problem-solving skills. -Incident Investigation Training -Affiliate ISEP Membership or Equivalent -Communication skills, both written and oral.
