Tasks

-Develop new algorithms and build prototypes to test and explore concepts. -Participate in iterative design, testing and development sprints to refine research. -Present research findings to the team and create reports and / or publish academic paper documenting the results. -Be an active team member conducting research to investigate the use of knowledge graphs and AI agents for AEC workflows. -Explore new prototyping frameworks and technologies. -Engage with team members and stakeholders to identify challenges and valuable research opportunities for domain specific ai agents. -Communicate ideas, challenges, solutions, and results effectively within a multidisciplinary team of researchers, software engineers, user experience designers, and industry experts -Conduct literature reviews.

What You Bring

-Computational or generative design experience. -Experience with modern generative AI tools and frameworks (eg. GPT, Claude, etc.) -Prior experience building AI agents, knowledge graphs, and MCPs. -Prior industry experience in an AECO organization. -Creative, flexible and enjoy working with new technology in a research setting. -Strong Computer Science fundamentals, with a proficiency in either Python, C#, Javascript. -Experience with programming 3D graphics frameworks and APIs. -Strong communications skills and teamwork experience. -Experience with Large Language Models, Knowledge Graphs, and Agentic Frameworks. -Solid understanding of Construction and AECO workflows. Basic knowledge of Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud or other construction management platforms. -Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Construction, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, AI/ML or related fields. -Very strong technical skills in building rapid software prototypes -Experience with web development frameworks (eg. Three.js, react)
