Overview

Admin handles deliveries, inventory, shop upkeep, landscaping, and basic maintenance.

Tasks

-Delivers parts to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary. -Operates forklift truck when necessary. -Completes snow removal tasks such as shoveling sidewalks, steps, and doorways as needed during winter months. -Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route as required. -Clean and supply office restrooms -Mow lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned. -Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. -Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. -Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to maintenance supervisor. -Embrace and demonstrate the qualities of the TrueNorth Steel Game Changer definition. -Performs routine cleanup of shop, restrooms and offices -Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. -Picks up parts along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested. -Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them -Track inventory of shop consumables as in PPE, weld consumables, grinding wheels and rocks. Provides weekly order list to supervisor. -Light trimming of bushes, shrubs, and hedges.

-Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite of software preferred -Ability to maintain basic logs and records. -Willingness to work outside -Strong interpersonal and time management skills -Prompt and dependable attendance. -Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping. -Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. -Able to remain professional and courteous at all times. -Forklift Experience Preferred -A Valid Driver’s license -Ability to plan delivery routes. -Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. -Ability to drive safely. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
