Assist with traffic modeling, safety analyses, and roadway design using VISSIM, Synchro, CAD.

What You Bring

-Knowledge in using CAD, and MS Office. -Interns in traffic operations will perform VISSIM and Synchro traffic modeling and be trained in operational analysis. -Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded leaning experience within transportation engineering. -A plus for candidates with VISSIM, Synchro, or traffic modeling experience. -Interns interested in transportation design will utilized MicroStation and Civil 3D AutoCAD for design of roadways, trails, or light rail projects. -Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with a Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most recent school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline after the internship. -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
