Tasks

-Collaborate with the Group Leader to achieve business metrics including sales, backlog, utilization, profitability, and client satisfaction -Lead pursuit and project management efforts for bridge, roadway, freeway, highway corridor, and interchange planning/design projects -Ensure adherence to DEA’s firmwide tools, processes, and policies related to project budgeting, contracting, and quality management -Oversee project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality deliverables -Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams -Help attract, develop, and retain top talent, while managing performance and supporting career growth -Review engineering documents for compliance with scope, standards, and DEA’s quality expectations

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering -Expertise in roadway or bridge design, including hands-on experience with OpenRoads Designer -Strong background working with public agencies such as ITD, WSDOT, and LHTAC -15+ years of transportation engineering experience, with at least 3 years in project management or as a design lead -Licensed PE in Idaho and Washington or ability to obtain within 6 months
