The Role

Overview

Inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage electrical power equipment.

Tasks

-Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader . -Develop and write reports. -Lead safety briefings on job site, identify , eliminate, or mitigate hazards. -Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components. -Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed. -Utilize Human Performance Error Elimination concepts and tools. -Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning.

What You Bring

-Experience with the following test equipment: -Knowledge of the following equipment: -Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. -Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. -Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. -Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs. -CT ration & saturation -Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical /Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred -Understand the theory behind and reason for testing with the ability to analyze results. -Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time. -5+ Year s Relevant Industry Experience -Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members. -Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus. -Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
