The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment in manufacturing.

Tasks

-Repair and maintain all in-house equipment. -Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, and other items needed. -Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups. -Perform quality audit process and update workorder with notes upon job completion. -Clean work area where work was performed. -Operate material handling equipment. -Repair above equipment with components as required. -Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, preferred work methods, and actively participate in safety training and initiatives -Clean and organize shop daily. -Repair/replace electrical components, relays, solenoids, switches, fuses, etc.

What You Bring

-Diagnose problems in electrical motor control circuits. -Trade school courses in hydraulics and electric motor cont. -On job experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and motor cont. -Chain hoist -All hand tools -Pipe threader -Tape measure -Diagnose problems in hydraulic and mechanically operated machinery. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Oxy-acetylene torch -Record labor accurately.
