Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Lead design and execution of commercial/industrial solar PV and storage projects.

Tasks

-Prepare electrical single-line diagrams and construction document sets -Coordinate with internal teams, utilities, and contractors on system design and interconnection -Mentor junior engineers and support process and technology improvements -Provide construction support, review RFIs and submittals, and ensure design accuracy through project closeout -Design rooftop, canopy, and ground-mount solar systems using AutoCAD in accordance with NEC and permitting standards

What You Bring

Location: Travel within MA, RI, and CT may be required -3+ years of C&I solar design experience, with at least 1 year in energy storage -NABCEP certification required -Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects -Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Helioscope or PVSys -Strong understanding of electrical design, permitting, and code compliance -EIT or PE license preferred
