Community Manager

Overview

Manage on-site operations, leasing, maintenance, finances for assigned community.

Tasks

-Monitor Advertising sources; IE: Internet, print ads, and locator services -Ensure that all documents are scanned and filed accordingly in Yardi Voyager -Prepare all non-financial government agency reports -Approve Invoices in PayScan -Prepare written reports as well as Plumbing & Smoke Detector logs to Regional Manager quarterly -Document any/all changes in the resident/maintenance file -Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets -Prepare for move ins, renovations, and turns timely -Work is performed in interior and exterior structure and common areas -Oversee, direct and mentor other site staff -Keep Outlook open, respond to emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner -Provide leasing assistance per property needs -Monitor and supervise contracted services and vendors -Enforce lease agreements, as well as house/community policies -Handle resident concerns/problems -Prepare/process all documents related to rent; i.e. non-payment, (UD, etc). -Provide Regional Manager with a monthly building report -Submit weekly, and month-end reports to Regional Manager -Maintain regular office hours consisting of 8-5pm, or 9-6pm

What You Bring

-Ability to problem solve with staff and residents -Basic knowledge of bookkeeping -Good written and verbal communication skills -Always maintain highest occupancy possible -Ability to lift moderately heavy objects, climb ladders, perform duties requiring extensive maneuverability and normal strength -2+ yrs in Property Management -High school diploma or equivalent
