Tasks

-Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons. -Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports. -Performs budget allocation, reporting, and cost control for designated construction disciplines. -Assists with budget allocation, reporting, and cost control for specific construction disciplines or groups of disciplines. -Prepares cost data for proposals and contracts. -Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as directed. -Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports. -Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and accuracy. -Collects and classifies cost data. -May assist less-experienced team members -Investigates requirements for estimating and cost control data. -Networks and connects with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise -Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors -Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.

What You Bring

-Home office experience of minimum 3-5 years is must as a Cost specialist. -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience -Possesses problem-solving responsibility while working under defined guidelines -Skilled in oral and written communication -Proficiency in domain specific software applications - Microsoft Office Applications, Ecosys, Power BI for example. -Demonstrates judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
