Tasks

-Provide construction management, supervision, and leadership for various Water or Wastewater construction projects in the greater Baltimore/ mid-Atlantic region. -Fully engage in solving problems to provide technical evaluation and sound solutions while independently coordinating and directing all phases of construction inspection, including special disciplinary inspections and material testing -Preside over scheduled project progress meetings and participate in/document routine project planning/look ahead meetings -Oversight of project record-keeping, scheduling, and reporting as required -Managing inspection staff. -Communicate effectively across different platforms with project design, owner and construction personnel, stakeholders, and the public

What You Bring

-Application of mathematical formulas and engineering principles -Equivalent experience would be considered in lieu of an associate or bachelor's degree -At least five (5) years of senior-level inspection and construction engineering/management experience involving site, structural, process mechanical, HVAC, and electrical, instrumentation and control improvements for water/wastewater facilities -Extensive experience with and knowledge of engineering materials, construction methods, industry standards and building codes, construction plans and technical specifications, and construction submittals -Working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Office products -Understanding of QA/QC development and execution processes -Digital communication and record-keeping literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle products -High School diploma or equivalent -MD Driver License and suitable driving records are required -Current engineering, safety, inspection and construction management certifications (such as CCM, PMP, DBIA, etc.) or ability to promptly obtain such -Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering -Collaborative team mindset fostering teamwork, partnership, and successful outcomes -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
