The Role

Overview

Responsible for sourcing, marketing, negotiating and managing retail leases in Dallas region.

Tasks

-Oversee and manage lease committee submittal packages. -Remain current on retail, market and consumer trends by reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals and professional journals. -Supply property information, understand how to show and tour space, and quote accurate and complete lease rates. -Create and maintain leasing status reports, including weekly leasing status and “pipeline” reports. -Manage leasing plans, including targeted merchandise categories and prospective tenant lists. -Negotiate deal terms and lease documents, including renewals, directly with retailers. -Generate competitive market reports, which shall include the following information regarding the specific trade area: -Participate in national and regional trade shows. -Tenant activity, including new market entry for prospective retailers. -Coordinate and participate in retailer presentations and portfolio reviews. -Screen incoming leasing inquiries and broker calls. -Effectively present information and timely respond to inquiries from senior management, co-workers, tenants and third-party brokers and vendors. -Qualify and track lease prospects.

What You Bring

-Proficient in MRI, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite. -CLS or other industry specific designation recommended. -Five (5)-plus years of retail leasing experience with established national and regional tenant relationships. -Ability to travel (20%on average). -Strong knowledge and understanding of the commercial leasing process and real estate laws. -Excellent communication, organizational skill, and problem-solving skills. -Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
