The Role
Overview
Conduct field testing and inspections of building enclosure systems.

Tasks
-Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results -Make detailed observations and provide recommendations for improvements -Perform a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under direct supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. -Provide assessment of data through reporting -Communicate effectively with client and project teams -Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work -Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks -Work utilizing drawings, specifications and diagrams -Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (i.e., air and water infiltration)

What You Bring
-Construction, glazing, roofing or similar general construction background, preferred -Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more, sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc. as required to perform job duties -Degree in a technical field desired, or equivalent related experience, preferred -Familiarity with Quality Assurance policies and procedures which relate to the control, storage, and disposition of test specimens -Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision -General construction/carpentry knowledge and experience using power tools -Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required -High School Diploma or GED required -Ability to travel as business needs indicate - Up to 15% overnight/out of town -Technical competency to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications, and results and possess a mechanical aptitude
