The Role

Overview

Inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft structures, including composites and modifications.

Tasks

-Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures -Perform work in a safe and timely manner -Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed -Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft -Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts -Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed -Operate ground support equipment as required -Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures -Assist with aircraft component repair -Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached -Participate in 5-S activities -Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft -Assist with towing aircraft as needed -Remove / install aircraft components as required -Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed -Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

What You Bring

-You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required -You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status -You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings -You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays -You have a minimum minimum 5 years of aircraft structures corporate experience -You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools -Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records. Additionally, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening will be carried out to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safety-sensitive positions -You have an airframe license by the FAA -You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable -You have basic PC skills
