Assist utilities projects with coordination, design, cost analysis, procurement & reporting.

Tasks

-Assist with the preparation of feasibility assessments and load calculations. -Coordinate utility works and liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants. -Maintain accurate project data and assist with digital cost database updates. -Attend meetings and contribute to the coordination of multi-utility strategies. -Support procurement and coordination of utility provider quotations and designs. -Review utility proposals to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for savings. -Support tender processes, cost assessments, and contract administration (NEC/JCT). -Support project reporting, meeting minutes, trackers, and communication records. -Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and client delivery. -Assist in interpreting client utility requirements and reviewing scheme drawings.

What You Bring

-Willingness to work toward a professional qualification (e.g., RICS, ICE, IET). -Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional consultancy environment. -Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to GIS or CAD desirable. -Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail. -Previous experience in utilities coordination, engineering, or project support advantageous. -Degree or HND in a relevant technical, engineering, or construction discipline (preferred but not essential). -Exposure to diverse client projects, frameworks, and digital delivery tools.
