Tasks

-_Read printed reports and data displayed on computer screens._ -Measurement and test equipment use and calibrations including hand tools, gauges, optical tools, balances, color meters, and force measuring instruments. -_Perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and kneeling._ -Sampling plans and proper sample preparation.

What You Bring

-_Ability to operate various different styles of forklifts_ -High School Diploma or GED. -_Lift, push, and pull, up to 50 pounds._ -At least 18 years of age. -**Reading Skills** : Interpret manuals, safety instructions, reports, and understand images, graphs, and coding systems in the work area. -Quality management system compliance. -Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products. -Previous forklift operation experience. -Previous manufacturing experience. -Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled. -Inspection techniques and processes. -Risk assessment reasoning. -Data entry and analysis methods. -Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing environment. -Strong English, reading, and writing skills for career advancement, including the ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedural documents. -**Writing Skills** : Write clear, simple sentences, complete technical forms, and apply basic math concepts like estimation and spatial reasoning. -Process improvement and problem solving approaches. -Ability to operate a forklift. -**Reliability** : Maintain punctuality, stay composed in stressful situations, and work effectively in a structured environment. -Area management and housekeeping best practices. -Nonconforming materials and rework handling. -_Fine motor skills to operate tools, including chop saws, staple guns, calipers and other test equipment._ -Strong cross-functional communication skills. -**Oral Skills** : Communicate effectively, respond to questions, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to support plant improvements. -Proficiency with using a computer.
