Tasks

The overall purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of a high quality reporting and compliance service to the company in accordance with agreed time tables and in line with accounting standards and tax legislation.

We know that how we do things is just as important as what we do, so you will not only be highly self-motivated with the rigour to pursue goals, but you will also be a confident collaborator, networker and relationship builder with a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. -Good working knowledge of accounting fundamentals. -Proven experience of project management. -Experience in statutory reporting or tax processes. -Part qualified CCAB/CIMA accountant (have completed Applied Skills level of ACCA, professional level of ACA, CIMA Management Level or equivalent). -Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours. -Experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent finance system. -Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. -Good oral and written communications. -Experience of VAT and CIS return preparation. -Good understanding of internal financial controls. -Proven customer service experience. -Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines. -Ability to analyse and manipulate data.
