The Role

Overview

Summer internship analyzing real estate finance, valuations, and loan transactions.

Tasks

-Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings. -Analyze rent rolls, operating history, etc. -Participate in the origination and execution of lending and debt transactions. -Coordinate with underwriters, production team, and borrowers for collection of loan due diligence materials. -Spread data into financial analysis spreadsheets. -Draw conclusions based on aggregate information and prepare summary opinions. -Work closely with Senior Management and the Sales Teams. -Perform valuation and cash flow analyses using various methodologies. -Analyze commercial real estate financial data. -Engage in all stages of transaction execution, from the pitch phase through closing. -Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the company. -Research various markets, statistics, laws, and regulations. -Conduct initial client outreach through cold calling/email marketing.

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented with strong organizational/project-management skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. -Currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a bachelor’s degree. -Strong communication skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Analytical skills. -Fundamental real estate knowledge through prior internships and coursework. -Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines. -Proven track record of success in prior academic or work experience.
