Tasks

-Perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected results -May work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures -Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural process -Evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents -Write specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews

What You Bring

This position is intended for individuals who are not yet licensed in architecture. These individuals must demonstrate solid design thinking and strong knowledge of design fundamentals as expressed by their portfolio. S/he must possess good oral and written communication skills, and must be able to clearly present and explain a design concept to supervisors and peers. Having the ability to take direction from others and maintain a positive attitude is paramount, along with being a self-starter and team player. A strong desire to learn about and to progress through the architecture profession is critical. -Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, the Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/ Rhino (or similar), Bluebeam and Microsoft Office is required. -Local candidates preferred -LEED Green Associate
