Coordinate designs across disciplines including structural, architectural, and specialist systems.
Expedite procurement and manufacturing processes, and report on progress.
Ensure designs comply with specifications and identify potential scope gaps or risks.
Record changes and instructions.
Ensure testing and commissioning plans are developed and followed.
Coordinate MEP subcontractors during on-site installation.
Represent BAM in meetings with BAS, MEP suppliers, and subcontractors.
Obtain internal and external document approvals.
Review and coordinate MEP designs with subcontractors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date ‘as-built’ documentation.
Support the Commissioning Manager with building services systems.
Ensure materials are fabricated to the agreed standards and quality.
Lead and attend site coordination meetings; plan and schedule installation activities.
Produce Technical Queries (TQs) as required.
Assist the Quality Team with completion of ITPs.
Prepare and coordinate engineering documents such as shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). All documentation must be shared in accordance with BIM Level 2 standards as outlined in the project BIM Execution Plan.
Oversee installation activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and BAM safety standards.
Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at appropriate stages.

A degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
Strong communication skills, organisational ability, and flexibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
You will be required to work out of our area offices initially, which are located in Inverness and Kilsyth, Scotland, before going on-site for project delivery.
Familiarity with NEC3 contracts (essential).
5–10 years of cumulative experience and competency in Building Services.
Membership of IMechE, IET, or CIBSE—or the qualifications to become chartered.
Experience on projects with MEP value exceeding £25M.
Awareness of BIM Level 2, Common Data Environment (CDE), Government Soft Landings, and BREEAM (advantageous).
