-Review heating and cooling load calculations -Performing design calculations and equipment selection and layout of HVAC equipment -Encouraging Professional Licensure -Reviewing designs and specification editing
-Direct expansion (DX) equipment, VRV/VRF air conditioning systems design and central chilled water and heating water plants -Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, EIT or P.E. license preferred -Knowledgeable of construction administration responsibilities including submittal review, RFI responses, performing site visits and writing field reports -Knowledgeable of basic electrical and plumbing general requirements for discussions with Owners, Contractors, Architects, and Code Authorities -Experience with building energy performance software, comcheck, rescheck and green building certification criteria, such as LEED -Familiar with Trane Trace and Carrier HAP programs -Ability to travel for project meetings or job site visits and building surveys as required -AutoCAD proficient; Revit experience is a plus!
