Tasks

As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll be part of that impact by ensuring product integrity, customer confidence, and a strong foundation for what’s next. -Act as the company’s technical liaison with clients, contracts, engineers and regulatory bodies -Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports and certifications -Train and mentor quality control technicians and field personnel -Conduct and supervise field and laboratory testing of concrete and raw materials -Collaborate with production staff to maintain consistency in batching, delivery and application -Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including product failures, customer complaints, or specifications deviations -Review, approve, and maintain mix designs in compliance with local, state and federal specifications -Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, DOT and other applicable standards and regulations -Development of new mix designs to meet customer’s needs -Provide technical support to operations, sales and project teams regarding concrete performance and application -Develop, implement, and monitor quality control standards for ready-mix concrete production -Optimization of current mixes to reduce over-design and develop a better product for end users

What You Bring

If you're passionate about concrete quality, thrive in lab, field, and plant settings, and want to make a positive impact, then this could be your next step. -Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred) -Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) -5+ years of experience in civil engineering, QC, or ready-mix production (preferred) -Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, DOT specs -Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred) -Experience working in plant, field, and lab environments -Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, testing procedures, and material science -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
