  • Accountable for the implementation of short interval control (Short Term Planning) decision-making concerning the overall programme
  • Lead priority allocation of resources and logistics
  • Accountable for site set-up mobilisation and maintenance of the Project Life Cycle confirming the best practices
  • Programme delivery management for the holistic part of their project or the whole project including logic and sequencing resolutions with wider project requirements
  • Lead team in contractual resolutions and reporting on the joint position of packages Build and understand scopes as well as understand the contractual obligation for their element of work both up and downstream
  • Lead teams to deliver in accordance with design and spec with full knowledge of the ERs and Design development
  • Ownership of efficient site Deliveries and logistical material/ waste removal movements through the project with clear guidance to the logistics team
  • Production and implementation of phasing construction plan with logistical constraints and opportunities identifying mitigations and action plan
  • Involvement in developing and executing work package budgets
  • Implementation of 3D modelling to assess technical buildability and resolution to construction constraints
  • Identify and acquire lessons learnt that are relatable to project specifics then implement beneficial practices
  • Coordination and implementation of site-wide daily briefings
  • Accountable for Integration of planning and site teams, ensuring clear two-way communication between all parties with accurate records of progress, risk/ blocker identification and mitigation
  • Accountable for plant and access of the project ensuring the facilitating of critical activities in the required sequence
  • Accountable for RAMs, Procedures and SSOW are in place throughout the Project
  • Implementing Roles and Responsibilities of the Project team and Supply Chain with the correct competencies aligned to the level of risk, and approvals as per company requirements/systems
  • Lead Operational teams on the Project
  • Ensuring Project and supply chain meet the latest Balfour Beatty Policies and Procedures
  • Coordination and planning of BB construction teams’ work with the understanding of priority to the critical path and EVA efficiency
  • Accountable for Operational Project Readiness in line with Project Specifics
  • Enforcing disciplined site records by the BB construction team and supply chain
  • Identify procurement requirements and commercial impact of delays, with effective records and management culpability
  • Supporting stakeholder management
  • Set Quality standards of the Project, inclusive of relevant documentation
  • Leads Pre-Starts with supply chains and their mobilisation of the Project
  • Assisting the Project Leadership and operational team in setting and implementing the plan for the Sustainability targets and goals
  • Compliance and integration of credit rules between both planner and site operations
  • Supporting negotiations and conflict resolutions as well as leading others to do the same
  • Keeping up to date with regulation changes

  • Advanced experience in handling safety management on construction sites and implementing safety protocols
  • Including JV Members engagement and integration within the project with transparent communication on a 'one' project goal
  • Adept in the management of data and processes

  • Experience with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
  • Ability to apply construction management principles at an expert level
