Tasks

-Market and promote the Superior Construction brand. -Implement and monitor programs as directed by management -Collaborates with team members to meet schedule and tackle construction challenges. -Fosters and maintains a safe and inclusive work environment. -Recruit / recommend and hire qualified individuals to maintain high performing teams. -Develops other project team members. -Responsible for the successful execution of all field activities in line with project construction drawings, specifications, schedule, and budget. -Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stake holders. -Directly coordinates both self-perform and subcontractor scopes of work. -Manages all craft crews, equipment, and material to obtain optimum production of self-perform activities. -Performs constructability reviews as project drawings are developed.

What You Bring

-OSHA Safety Training -Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects -Communication proficiency. -Design Build experience preferred -Stress management/composure. -Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment. -Minimum fifteen years of industry tenure with 5+ years working as a superintendent on a heavy civil project -TDOT experience preferred -Strong knowledge of highway and bridge construction means and methods -Knowledge of Industry Construction Practices. -Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
