Tasks

-Prepare and mange RFx events, competitive tenders, site-walks, commercial evaluations, contract awards, and maintenance for direct projects expenses (e.g., capital equipment, construction/engineering materials, subcontractors, and subconsultants) -Maintain and provide accurate and effective documentation and records management in compliance with internal and external regulations -Manage and develop the performance of Regional Subcontract Administrators, and Specialists -Follow, reinforce and continuously improve Source-to-Pay policies, procedures, and processes -Mentor and train as needed, identifying high-potential employees -Drive standardization in approach and maturity in procurement project delivery strategy -Develop and execute procurement and contracting strategies to ensure the procurement initiatives are implemented and strictly adhered to ensure value for AECOM and our clients -Build strong, trusted relationships with Business Unit and cross-functional leaders, continuously adding value -Ensure procurement compliance and best commercial terms -Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and make efficient supply management decisions -Implement Source-to-Pay (S2P) policies and procedures to improve service levels -Support projects through all phases: proposal, planning, execution, and closeout -Support Sustainable Procurement by promoting decarbonization and social equity, diversity and inclusion in our supply chain and communities through partnerships with small and disadvantaged businesses -Escalate best and final contract and insurance exceptions to Operations, Legal, and Risk Management -Act as a liaison between Business Units and Global Business Services (GBS) -Lead and guide a team of procurement professionals in business unit, and nearshore/offshore service delivery centers -Generate Net Service Revenue (NSR) for Procurement to offset labor costs whenever possible -Assist in the preparation of client approval packages prior to award -Support the resolution of supplier disputes -Negotiate, prepare, execute, facilitate framework agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts -Coordinate sourcing and contracting with stakeholders -Present procurement and contracting processes, procedures, and activities to internal and external stakeholders in an effective manner -Effectively present procurement processes to stakeholders -Lead and execute procurement and contracting strategies

What You Bring

-8+ years of experience in engineering, procurement, and construction within a multi-location, project-based industry -Certified Professional Supply Management (CPSM), or other relevant professional certification -Deep understanding of commercial and contracting terms, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies -Open-minded self-starter with strong adaptability, improvisation, and problem-solving skills -Familiarity with Certificates of Insurance and various policy types and limits -Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical problem-solving skills -Confident in presenting to senior business leaders and external clients -Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, solve problems, and make efficient and effective supply management decisions -Proven success in fast-paced, growing environments requiring high flexibility -Work on several projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize to ensure all deadlines are met and maximize impact and results
