Manage complex temporary traffic management on high‑risk roads in Christchurch

Tasks

-Proactively manage site safety and lead comprehensive risk management across all road categories to ensure safety for all road users and workers. -Coordinate and direct multiple crews whilst liaising with clients, contractors, and road controlling authorities. -Supervise and mentor traffic crews, including TMOs, TTM Workers and other STMS team members. -Lead all aspects of on-site traffic management including confirming TMPs, conducting crew briefings, implementing contingency plans, and completing compliance documentation with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and coordination across complex road environments. -Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and promote safe use of tools, vehicles, and equipment. -Complete, manage and maintain all required documentations and ensuring full compliance is met

What You Bring

-3+ years of experience in temporary traffic management and managing Category A,B and C traffic management sites -Competency in using digital tools and systems for real-time reporting, job tracking, and crew communication. -Be able to articulate and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Zero Harm practices -In-depth understanding of CoPTTM/NZGTTM and Local Operating Procedures. -Full Clas 1 and 2 Drivers License -Leadership strength with the ability to guide, coach, and empower others -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -First Aid Certification would be highly desirable
