Overview

Lead mechanical design, project delivery and team mentorship for MEP projects

Tasks

-Develop and maintain relationships with clients, industry networks, and contractors to promote and grow the MEP business. -Conduct technical reviews of MEP projects to ensure quality and alignment with project goals. -Manage project delivery within budget and schedule, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. -Hands-on concept and detailed mechanical design for various projects, including data centers, in a lead discipline engineer role. -Oversee and coordinate design activities, ensuring that design techniques, review processes, and software tools are up-to-date and correctly applied.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. -Proven experience in leading mechanical design teams and managing complex projects, with a focus on cost-effective, sustainable solutions. -A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of detailed mechanical design experience in an engineering consultancy. -Strong knowledge of local and international legislation, regulations, and codes of practice, with data center design experience being an added advantage.
