The Role
Overview
Inspect and ensure quality of electro‑mechanical products before shipment.

Tasks
-Partner closely with the quality leaders, engineers, and supervisors on final inspections before shipments are released. -Assist with Discrepancy and Non-Conformance reporting (capturing and interpreting metrics to find areas needing improvement) -Maintain a safe work environment -Inspect products per drawings, schematics, route cards, and test specifications while using a variety of tools such as calipers and cameras -Improve skills and knowledge through continued learning of Siemens’ production, safety, and inspection procedures -Document and respond to shipping damage issues -Work with cross-functional teams to adequately detail records in the SAP Quality Management system

What You Bring
-Ability to travel 2% if off-site training or meetings may be vital -Proficiency with Microsoft Office required -Proficiency with precision measuring equipment to check parts for compliance with engineering specifications -Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization -Ability to work independently and with cross-functional partners -Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings required -Proven electro-mechanical abilities gained through previous professional and/or academic experience as required to inspect the functional quality of Russelectric products (e.g. wire terminations, solder joints, etc.) -Good verbal and written communication skills in English required -SAP experience preferred -Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001 or ISO45001 would be useful -Strong attention to details -Experience generating, tracking, and interpreting quality metrics preferred -High school diploma or equivalent experience required -Punctual attendance required. Second shift is 2:30p.m. to 11:00p.m. Central Time—qualified candidates must be able to work during this time; ability to work overtime or weekends when needed. -IPC 610 and 620 certifications would be a plus
