Tasks
-Ensure permits and inspections are in place before and during the project. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safety culture. -Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation. -Ensure a harassment-free work environment. -Ensure 100% compliance with NHBC standards and building regulations. -Direct labour, equipment, and resources to achieve project completion on time and within budget. -Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, and progress. -Develop and lead staff to maintain high morale and performance. -Support training and development of team members. -Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations. -Conduct appraisals and address development needs with HR support. -Conduct site inductions for new personnel and subcontractors on health and safety procedures. -Coordinate with the Buying and Surveying teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services. -Support site logistics to ensure proper material storage and availability. -Manage site teams, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. -Oversee site operations to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. -Monitor project progress, addressing delays, risks, or issues promptly. -Attend weekly meetings with the site sales executive. -Oversee project closeout, ensuring all tasks are completed and documentation submitted.

What You Bring
-Strong leadership skills with an ability to mentor and develop others -NVQ Level 4/5/6, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar -Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation -Black CSCS Card -Proven ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time, within budget -Strong Time management skills with an ability to prioritise -Valid CITB SEATS & Temporary works Certificate -Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships -A proven background in new build housing site management -Trade experience -Valid SMSTS certificate -Thorough, with strong attention to detail -Proficient in MS Office programmes; particularly Word and Outlook -Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously -Valid First Aid at Work certificate -Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate -Valid LOLER certificate -Ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels
