The Role

Overview

Repair & maintain corrugated box equipment, handling electrical, mechanical, hydraulic work.

Tasks

-Troubleshooting industrial electrical issues (12vdc to 480vac). -Use hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring devices, and testing instruments. -Troubleshoot electrical motors, frequency drives, PLCs, proximity sensors, limit switches and relays. -Performing routine scheduled preventative maintenance. -Responding to unscheduled floor calls by troubleshooting and repairing with a sense of urgency. -Supporting our safe working environment by adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. -Troubleshooting and repairing industrial corrugated box making machinery. -Provide your own basic hand tools and rolling toolbox.

What You Bring

-Prior maintenance experience in the packaging industry with focus on converting/corrugating equipment -Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. -Mechanical maintenance experience with conveyor systems, actuated valves, and welding. -Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics -Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.) -Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics -Experience troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical AND electrical issues -Have a self-starting and disciplined work ethic -Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings -Associates degree in electrical and/or mechanical technology -Problem solving with team members. -2+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or production environment -Industrial electrical knowledge with advanced motor and frequency drive troubleshooting experience -Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. -Willing and able to work any shift, holiday, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Benefits

-Training will be on 1st shift for 3 months -This is a 2-3-2 work schedule. -$36.43 - $42.41 per hour (depending on experience)
