Tasks
The EHS Manager will be a key part of the site leadership team and will be responsible for optimizing and managing all EHS programs and processes within the plant. Working closely with plant personnel, the EHS Manager will lead the implementation and evaluation of critical EHS processes, programs and procedures as well as objectives, and continuous improvement across 3 locations. -Implement, manage, and monitor all applicable EHS programs and processes across the facility. -Assist in the completion of investigations related to environmental and safety incidents, as well as implementing corrective action. -Conduct and ensure the delivery and tracking of all awareness and compliance training for employees within the facility. -Occasionally travel to other company business units as a member of an assessment team or to serve as a subject matter expert for resolution of a particular issue. -Work closely with the Human Resources Department, and, where appropriate, the Third-Party Administrator (TPA), to review and monitor workers’ compensation costs and develop plans to minimize active claims. -Monitor and maintain compliance with the requirements of federal, state, and local laws and applicable consensus standards. -Execute and oversee routine inspections, audits, and drills within the plant. -Work in a team environment where responsibilities for injury/illness prevention, compliance assurance, auditing, incident investigation, and employee training are integrated into the routine functions of the operations. -Lead employee engagement efforts including oversight of committees and assessment processes.

What You Bring
-Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Experience. -Experience with Air Permitting, NPDES, Wastewater Discharge, Water Appropriation, Hazardous Waste Management and Disposal, SPCC, FRP, and Spill Response. -Must have established interpersonal skills with a proven ability to reach consensus. -A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance programs in industrial operations. -BS in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university is required. -Proactive, highly organized and committed to continuous improvement. -Must have strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as well as relevant consensus standards. -Workers’ Compensation Claims and Return-To-Work Program Management Experience. -Knowledge and experience with ISO 45001 and 14001 management system implementation and certification. -Fluency in Spanish preferred.
