Tasks

You will work independently to source new clients, book CPDs and introductory meetings to build relationships and generate opportunities, quote and win those opportunities and support the delivery of the projects where needed. You will be supported by internal technical experts with solid skills and experience in the delivery of advanced ground improvement methods. You’ll enjoy working to targets and tight timelines and take pride in delivering high-quality technical services and solutions to your clients. -Manage planned and proactive follow-ups with new clients and all designs and quotations issued. -Address client needs and concerns quickly and effectively. -Responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring client needs are met, and driving additional business. -Input and maintain accurate data into company systems in a timely manner. -Work with our engineering team to prepare and design solutions that solve our clients' problems. -Ensure all orders received are ready for scheduling and delivery as quickly as possible. -Act as a flexible and proactive team member. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet client needs. -Interpret site investigation data to assist with the production of detailed treatment designs. -Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business executives. -Negotiate contract terms -Upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing and new clients. -Prepare pricing and quotations in accordance with company policies and KPIs. -Support operations and delivery by working closely with our Operations Director and Contracts Managers to maintain strong client relationships throughout the duration of the works. -Contribute to sales process development. -Hunt and progress new opportunities and complete pre-visit qualification. -Undertake online and in-person site visits as required. -Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met, and communicate and seek approval for any changes.

What You Bring

If you are a driven, technically-minded person who enjoys solving geotechnical problems, winning new business, and growing existing relationships and increasing your personal income then the role of an Area Manager at Geobear could be the perfect fit. It would be even more beneficial if you are technologically adept and conversant with online client interfaces. Based: Home-based with travel as required -Experience with virtual technology operating systems. -Proven proactive sales experience and account management skills -Growth mindset - curiosity, open mind, willing to learn and improve -Experience in client-facing roles with evident client care skills. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or surveying sectors (BSc, MSc, OND, HND, Degree, etc.) -A full driving licence. -Ability to regularly listen, communicate, and collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and work towards joint solutions. -Knowledge of grouting in the ground, structural support, void filling, slab lifting, water management, and / or subsidence problems. -5+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in infrastructure sectors such as Rail, Highways, local councils pavement department, Utilities such as water companies, or commercial sectors such as Warehousing, Government Buildings, and Education Facilities, or geotechnical consultants . -Experience using client relationship management (CRM) or other account management tools.
