Tasks

The Senior Design Manager will lead the design of infrastructure projects, ensuring that all technical designs meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines. This role involves managing multidisciplinary design teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle from concept design to construction handover. -Conduct design risk assessments, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental considerations are met. -Manage project design schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time project delivery. -Prepare and review technical designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and constructability. -Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to integrate design and construction activities. -Support tendering and bid processes by preparing technical documentation and design inputs. -Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies. -Manage the design process for large scale road projects, in line with standard / specifications such as Specification for Roadworks, Cycle Design Manual, DMURS. -Coordinate internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, NTA standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

In partnership with our client (One of Ireland's leading Civils and Utilities company’s), who is currently looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join their team. -Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. -Strong knowledge of design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent. -Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. -Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. -5+ years’ experience in Road infrastructure design and project management. -Proven experience delivering projects in line with NTA standards.

-€14.01 a day in line with Revenue Commissioner Rules -Laptop and phone -Pension - % will depend on the role and level of seniority – starts at 1.5% -Commercial Vehicle with fuel card, plus toll tag -21 days annual leave
